Green Insights offers nature retreats, mindfulness courses, and facilitated workshops for groups and individuals seeking restoration and reconnection. We believe that genuine connection to nature, to ourselves, and to each other is often disrupted by the pace of modern life. Mindful awareness and time in nature are two of the most powerful ways to restore it.
Whether you are an individual looking to deepen self-awareness and find more balance, or an organizational group in need of a team reset, our programs offer something real. We work with nonprofit organizations, recreation programs, schools, summer camps, corporations and businesses.
All of our programs are fully customizable and can be designed as a standalone experience or incorporated into your organization's existing plans for staff training or retreat. Discounted pricing is available to nonprofit organizations. Green Insights is based in the San Francisco Bay Area and available to work with groups and individuals anywhere.

Nature Retreats are immersive outdoor experiences that combine mindfulness practices with time in the outdoors. They are ideal for individuals or groups seeking to disconnect from their busy lives, pursue personal growth, reconnect with each other, and deepen appreciation for the natural environment.
Contemplative time in nature allows mindfulness to develop naturally, providing a backdrop for personal exploration. Participants will be guided in the use of specific nature-based practices to cultivate mindful awareness and connect more deeply with nature. Group participants have the bond of shared experience, making this retreat an excellent team-building and group-strengthening activity. Retreats are facilitated by certified mindfulness teachers. Retreats can be scheduled as a standalone experience or incorporated into your organization's event. Available for organizational groups or individual enrollment.
Offered as a 4-week course (3 hours per session), one-day retreat (8 hours), or two-day retreat.

Something has shifted in how we relate to each other and to the world around us. Screens and technology, for all their benefits, have become a source of distraction and disconnection that many of us feel but are not sure how to address.
In our Disconnect to Reconnect workshops, participants are invited to step away from screens and into the natural world, reconnecting with themselves, others, and nature. Using mindfulness practices with nature as a backdrop, our program explores multiple ways to develop a healthier relationship with technology — not abandoning its benefits, but learning to engage with it more intentionally. Appropriate for beginners or experienced practitioners. Facilitated by certified mindfulness teachers. Available for organizational groups or individual enrollment.
Offered as a 6-week course (2 hours per session), 4-week course (3 hours per session), one-day retreat (8 hours), or two-day retreat. Contains both indoor and outdoor components.

Our introductory mindfulness courses offer an overview of the fundamental practices of mindfulness and meditation. Studies have shown that there are many benefits to mindfulness practice, including decreased stress and anxiety, enhanced creativity and concentration, and improved communication and relationships. This course enables participants to gain a basic understanding of mindfulness practices and how to use these techniques in daily life. Designed for beginners but appropriate for experienced practitioners looking for a refresher. Can be conducted indoors, outdoors, or a combination, for individuals or organizational groups, and can be combined with a nature retreat as a customized offering. Facilitated by certified mindfulness teachers. Available for organizational groups or individual enrollment.
Offered as a 6-week course (2 hours per session), 4-week course (3 hours per session), or daylong course (8 hours).
