Green Insights provides exceptional opportunities for groups and individuals to experience a deeper connection to themselves, to each other, and to nature. Our mindfulness courses and daylong nature retreats serve a diverse range of groups, including non-profit organizations, recreation departments, summer camps, businesses, or school teams. Whether it's for individual self-exploration, team-building, or organizational training, our team will customize an experience that meets your specific needs, at a location convenient for your group. Our goal is to make our courses and retreats accessible to as many people as possible, which is why we offer affordable rates and discounted pricing to non-profit organizations.
Our philosophy is built on the integration of mindfulness, nature, and wellness. Research indicates that both practicing mindfulness and spending time in nature provide significant benefits for mental and physical well-being. And connecting to the natural environment also enhances our understanding of the vital role nature plays in our lives. Still, we often move through our daily lives at a busy pace, disconnected from the outdoors or glued to screens.
Green Insights was founded by Mindfulness Teacher and Landscape Architect Jane Sedonaen. All courses and retreats are led by professional mindfulness teachers certified by the Mindfulness Training Institute (MTI), Awake in the Wild teacher training, and the International Mindfulness Teacher's association (IMTA).

Our Mindfulness in Nature Retreats are ideal for individuals or groups seeking to disconnect from their daily routines, reconnect with each other, and deepen appreciation for the natural environment. Participants will be guided in the use of specific nature-based practices to cultivate a mindful awareness and connect more deeply with nature. Contemplative time in nature allows mindfulness to develop naturally, providing a backdrop for personal exploration. And group participants have the bond of shared experience, making this retreat an excellent team-building and group-strengthening activity. Retreats are led by a professionally trained mindfulness teacher. Retreats can be scheduled as a standalone experience or incorporated into your organization's event. Offered as a half-day, full-day, or two-day retreat.
Our Mindfulness in Nature Courses are the perfect opportunity for individuals or groups to reconnect with themselves and the outdoors using nature-based mindfulness practices.
